Personal:

I retired from the Army after 26 years of service in 2010.  I moved home to Arizona.  My wife and I are empty nesters.  In 2016 I had stents placed in my heart after discovering coronary artery disease.  Since early 2016 I have lost 30 lbs and got in much better shape.  August 2017 I retired again. We served a mission to Mexico from October 2017 until April 2019.

last week I went camping with the Venture group. I am injured and didn't run. Ia ctually limped quite a bit with all the walking we did.  I am feeling better but won't attempt to run until I know that I am healed.  I rode the exercise bike this morning for 35 minutes- 11.41 miles.

exercise bike this morning.  35 minutes 11.89 miles.  I am steching my gastroc like Dr McKay showed me.  hopefully that will help my feet.

swam for 10 minutes in the morning using the tether to hold me in place.

in the evening I rode the exercise bike for 25 minutes.  different bike as I was at the rec cneter with a youth group so distance didn't correlate.

rode exercise bike for 35 minutes distance 12.04 miles.  then swam for 10 minutes.  This swimming workout is difficult and I am pretty sore.

exercise bike 35 minutes.  I listened to conference rather than reading scriptures and thus went faster and farther- total miles 12.58.

in the evening I swam using the harness.  I swam 13 minutes and was pretty tired afterwards.

rode the exercise bike for 35 minutes.  did not push as much because I went hard yesterday.  distance was 11.94 miles.

swam on the tether this morning for 15 minutes.  It seems like this will be a good workout for me.

My leg doesn't hurt at all to walk.  Now the question is how soon I will start running?

back in Arizona.  lots of work to catch up on.  I swam for 10 minutes on the tether.  I was really tired.

30 minutes on the exrcise bike.  9.87 miles.  I then immediately went and swam for 10 minutes on the tether.

ecercise bike for 35 minutes (12.33 miles).  I them used the swim pro (tether) to swim for 10 minutes.  Doing these back to back is turning out to be a really good workout. My leg has been pain free for a week with walking.  trying tod ecide when I am going to try running again?
