Personal:

I retired from the Army after 26 years of service in 2010.  I moved home to Arizona.  My wife and I are empty nesters.  In 2016 I had stents placed in my heart after discovering coronary artery disease.  Since early 2016 I have lost 30 lbs and got in much better shape.  August 2017 I retired again and we are going on a mission to Mexico in OCtober 2017.

it was raining lightly for the whole run.  I started off feeling really sore.  I tried to gradually speed up but then the humidity and heat got to me.  ( 77 degrees 70% humidity).  Total time 39:33.  splits 9:39, 9:22, 9:29, 11:03

short on time.  I have also been super tired.  It wasn't the heat today since it is cooler.  total time 28:52.  splits 9:36, 9:36, 9:40.

total running time 47:21.  splits 9:42, 9:32, 9:26, 9:23, 9:18.  I was hoping to be able to start slow and gradually speed up.  The last mile really hurt.  It was 78 degrees when I started the run and 79 when I finished.

I got home and changed clothes and then rode 5 miles on the bike.
